There are fantastic trails throughout the area for bicyclists, but the most popular is the 109-mile-long Mickelson Trail. A rails-to-trails project, the grades aren't steep and the scenery is incredible: cyclists will pass through four hard rock tunnels and rider over more than 100 historic railroad bridges as they meander through the national forest.
